Say what you will about Treyarch but you have to admit this is pretty awesome!

Call of Duty: World at War Map Pack #3 Announced

Treyarch has announced a third map pack is in development for its WW2 shooter Call of Duty: World at War, scheduled for release on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in August.

Left, coastal adventures on Battery. Right, Breach.
The map pack contains three new multiplayer arenas--Battery, Revolution and Breach--as well as one new map for the zombie mode titled Der Riese--'The Giant.'

No price was stated, though the two previous packs each cost $10 (800 Microsoft Points). While Treyarch made no mention of a PC release, such was the case with the previous map pack--which arrived on PC for free five weeks after the console release.

great another 800 points to use.

treyarch disgraced the name to modern warfare and i guess by doing all these map releases their trying to rebuild their name but this game will die by the time MW2 comes out. i just want the zombie map.

I just downloaded the map pack 2 last night but havent had a chance to actually play anything yet. Though I did play the new zombie map. Pretty sweet. Ill wait another 5 weeks for the free PC version.

PC version is free. I dont play console FPS with the exception of GoW.

Last I checked this thread wasnt under a subform for Xbox 360/PS3. The reason PC people are here is because in the original post (i think) it mentioned that the PC version of the second map pack was released 5 week AFTER the console version for free. Thats what PC people are doing here. Not to mention that WaW is also a PC title.

I think I might pick this up. I got my copy of WaW for 29.99, so 3 $10 map packs makes it normal price. Would've liked to have seen an all Zombie map pack though- its ridiculously addictive.

well for those who are pc. hacks and stuff lame sorry to say. always something messing with the proggies.

we have to dish out extra money for these map packs and their not even worth it. to spend money on this or not is a big question. treyarch just released map pack 2 and that only lasted 2-4 months.

How can you say playing on PC is lame?? FPS is best with a keyboard and mouse,yeah paying for a stupid add-on is stupid which is why i bought the PC version and then later bought it on PS3 but i ain't going download any map packs.
Paying for a add-on isn't worth it

Um yeah this is a PC enthusiast forum. I'm sorry you have to pay for map packs but that doesn't mean PC gaming is lame. It just means you should have gotten a better GPU than a console
