OS : Windows vista premium 32bit

Processor: c2d T5200 @ 1.60GHZ 2mb l2 cache

Ram : 512 mb + 2gb added [2.5GB total]

Graphics card: nvidia GeForce Go 7400 - Dedicated 128MB

I left playing games much since last 5-6 yrs due to busy study schedule, but now i want to start some good new games again which can work smoothly on my laptop's specs and of my choice.

Main games i've played and i liked till now :

Action :

Freedom fighter [Gr8 game]
Dead to right
Call of duty 1,2
MOHAA

Strategy :

GTA san andreas
Beach life [best game]
Age of empire 1
Rom total war
The sims 1

Sports :

NFS underground
Cricket all versions till now
Fifa all versions till now

Suggest me some good action and strategy games which i'll like according to games i liked i mentioned and working on my laptop.

You really can't play much man with that kind of machine. Only one that I might think would work would be Call of Duty 4 maybe 5.

it is strategic. Which gun do I use to kill him, and which vehicle I can use to run over as many cops on the way out as possible. Alot of planning goes into scoring drugs/women or executing a "quality" hit. :roll:

You are not going to be able to play many of the newer games, but you can get away with some older titles on medium to low settings. I suggest:

Action/Adventure:
Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
Half-Life 2 (and associated Episodes)
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warefare

Stradegy:
Age of Empires III
Trine

Otherwise, you have been out of the loop to long and need to upgrade.

Yeah, that is what I said. Medium to low. The guy just wants something to play smoothly. He didn't say all the graphic candy had to be maxed out. Those games should run well at medium settings.

PLAY KOTOR MOFO, lol no but seriously its a great rpg. starcraft as was mentioned is a great rts, 1 of a kind. if you liked rome total war, u'd probly like medieval 2 total war though its somewhat demanding. that's bout all i can think of.

Space Rangers 2 is a time sucking RPG/Action/Space Sim/Text Adventure/Arcade game that I have really been enjoying lately, and would play well on your old clunker. It reminds me of Escape Velocity from back in my Mac days. It's cheap and is available on Impulse.

Games like star wars battlefront I and II or empire at war. Also simcity 4 will run fine on that if you like simulation and so will age of empire's one and two and maybe 3.
