In what sense? Is there any difference at all between the Megahalems and the Megashadow? From what I've read there aren't, and if that's true then you decide whether $15 is worth the black plating.

its black nickle coating....and inflated pre-order pricing as well. I bet when they actually hit shelves they will be listed cheaper elsewhere. Yes erocker this will look sexier than the Noc

Also I'm not so sure you have to love a beautiful heat sink with a sickly pink and brown fan attached to it , now that says quality if it has a owl on it. :respect:

The crazy thing is they are so good people buy them anyways.

its cool to see companies selling black coolers, I remember when I made my first Black/colored AC Freezers, People thought I was crazy.

I had to actually look up scientific research to show it was OK.

It's kinda of crazy that the shadow is $20 more than the original. I highly recommend the Mega though. It's currently cooling 2 of my i7 crunchers.

You know it ends up being about 13.00 more if you added a second set of fan clips to the regular MEG. The shadows comes with two set so your paying 13.00 for a nicer box and black paint job.

Looks like only one fan can be mounted plus it's even heavier than the TRUE or MEG. I will say that might finally be the HDT cooler that the Hammer should have been because unlike Iggy Tuniqe makes high quality stuff, looks wise and performance wise.. Similar to Noctua , old time Zalman and Thermalright. Iggy got slammed for how the hammers base is designed. It performs well but not as well as it should. Iggy makes nice stuff but it's not up to these companies quality.

As for only one fan, your right there XD

Still I'd rather pay for a cooler with a fan then having two buy two fans on top of what I've already paid.

Having said that if I had money to piss away I would get a Mega Shadow, wonderful designed piece of kit.

If you are nice to certain vendors, you get the second set for free. I got an extra set for both of my M's and I didn't pay a dime for them.
