Dell blows. They make halfway decent laptops, but otherwise they suck.

But I dont get whats wrong with Dell...or their laptops at least.
You mean the laptops that have been recalled for the possibility of catching fire? :). There's nothing wrong with Dell for "set it and forget it" systems, and like I said before, you're best not opening the case of a Dell unless you like serious hardware issues :p. Then again, if you get a mass order of bad Dell's like Ashensugar got...you're screwed .

PS- AOL blows but at least the E-mail utility is easy to use...or so my Mom says.

Like:
ASUS: best mobo's period
ARCTIC COOLING: Arguably best (air) cooling
LOGITECH: quality peripherals
SAMSUNG: virtually silent hard drives
Dislike:
Thermaltake: crap fans, power supplies, and ripped off cooler designs
Jetway: substandard crap (got a socket seven from them once, never again)
Apple: arty farty tosh
Leadtek: flaky motherboard capacitors a while back, which cost me!(k7ncr18d pro 2)
Aopen: bought an xc cube(ez18) and nforce digital audio output didnt work (reason i got it in first place), nearly cooked my hard drive, then the cpu fan failed!
Sony: had many optical drives fail

really?

I don't like ASrock or Aopen. I don't like the 939 Dual Sata 2, the only reason I got it was because I was running an AGP, but knew I was going to get PCI-E. Aopen is just cheap crap.

ive used 2 aopen motherboards and both worked out really well. as a matter of fact until i fried my old P2 333mhz CPU i was still using it as my freebsd server. thats 8 years of service!

just trust us, dell desktops suck baddly, would have been better off with emachiens, at least they dont tend to explode in a shower of sparcks :p

OK OK i admit it, i was working with a dell computer the other day.....CANT AGREE WITH U MORE!!!!

but i still dont hate em cus i know that custom pwns everything :)

the only reason i dnt hate em is cus the laptop i got is the BEST, (dell inspiron 9300 w/6800 :D) and it hasnt had any problems + is backed by 3 year warranty (which is a waste of $600, but i got the whole system for 2k a year ago :p:D)

NOO!!! Everyone hates DELL!!!! (not joking here :p)
i dont hate em, so thats one at least :p

But their desktops SUCK and are un-upgradeable, but until the laptop dies and they give me hell, i cant say i dnt like em :), so they will remain on my good list :)

any cheapass "all in one water cooling" kit

i dont dislike ASrock (i have a 939dual) but i would agree that their boards are generally gimicky and lack any real substance
