also you may use UNmodded drivers with LHALMod if you put SLI cert of your motherboard manufacturer

aGeoM thanks for your patient and testing!:)

Welcome. :toast:

Well... much more testing to be done, I will be swapping boards to further testing I have another AMD board wich I couldn't patch registry DSDT without a BSOD on reboot, it's my next target.

Should LHALMod be enought to patch registry DSDT Table? I needed to run SLI Installer to sucessfully patch registry.

BTW I also have 2 HD4850 cards and a nVidia SLI ready board, can we run CrossfireX with nVidia's chipset?

Didn't test that, but I tested with different ASUS Cert from P6T and worked ok.

Gonna test with latest beta drivers and DFI cert.

Hi

I just did a clean OS install, this was what I had to do:

Motherboard DFI LP DK 790FXB-M2RSH (0820a)
Graphics 2 x ASUS 9800GT
OS Windows 7 Ultimate x64

1 - Install Win7 x64.
2 - Install System and 190.62 Win7 x64 (WHQL) drivers.
3 - Disable UAC.
4 - Restart.
5 - Run SLI string installer as Admin select ASUS certificate.

6 - Run LHALMod as Admin

7 - Copy moded nvlddmkm.sys (rev2) Win7 x64 to C:\windows\system32\drivers\

8 - Sign the nvlddmkm.sys with:

well first of all thanks to everyone for all your hard work now I have a question can't I use a gigabyte certificate as I have a gigabyte x48 motherboard instead of an asus certificate?

You'll have to skip

7 - Copy moded nvlddmkm.sys (rev2) Win7 x64 to C:\windows\system32\drivers\

8 - Sign the nvlddmkm.sys with:

If you want to try it that way. (rev2) is only for ASUS insert,
Does it really matter that much what SLIC you run so long as you get SLI? ;)

Whoa wait, this could also be a reverse mod too (Cf on an SLI board). Test this out cause I am interested!!!!!

but not with HALMod and modded NVDrivers

Why not with HALmod and unmodded ATi drivers?

I have a Biostar TF8200 A2+ witch is suppose to have low class SLI onboard video + add in 8400 or 8500.
Thinking of testing the latest AMDmod on that board to see if maybe I can get onboard vid to SLI with a 8800GS. lol

something with SLI cert maybe. try modded drivers again

To enable SLI I also need to change cert to ASUS, are you sure you want me to install modded driver now?

Don't seam to be nothing wrong with SLI cert, it loads ok into the registry. Could be something else to do with the modded nvlddmkm.sys+hal combo?
