Nope, it's the opposite. I would still go for the Corsair, I have had excellent luck with Corsair products so far (3 PSUs and 4 kits of RAM), and the Corsair memory I have purchased in the past OCs excellently

the truth = low timings > high timings.

high frequncy > low timings

thats why at the same time frequency increases with each new standard (ddr, ddr2, ddr3), more frequency is added to enhance performance

Using the above info to base my views on, I'd go with the OCZ set as they look better and come with tighter stock timings.
