Well, as you can guess & probably know, DEMANDS it be on!

(JavaScript & YES, Java itself? They are a HUGE security-risk (on the "public internet", imo @ least), as far as I am concerned, even with sites I "trust"... so, this "saves me that hassle" in turning it on in my webbrowsers (IE &/or Opera))

Very RARELY, if ever, nab virus &/or malware because of it... I have a system going STRONG since 2003 because of this & other things I avoid in fact, using myself as a 'case in point'/example.

* You probably have YEARS old setups going strong because you avoid things like it...

P.S.=> I agree with JAVA &/or JavaScript on INTRANET programming, I have to use scripts SOMETIMES in .NET code if there is no quick analog for me... but otherwise, on the "public internet"? It's still TOO damn dangerous imo @ least... & those of many others, including yourselves! apk

Not entirely sure you can do this. You did get it for free, but im pretty sure its still illegal. And even if its not M$$ will and is probably scanning for this stuff. So im going to have to edit the key out.

What do you mean illegal? In the message i got from MS they sayd that i could use the key to install on 10 comps.
It is a beta so why should i be illegal to share a beta key?

It is so unfeasable.

16GB for a OS that asks every single time you try to access device manager if you want to or not, where you have to do command prompt hacks + booting in to a special state to install unsigned drivers that will work after you install but force you to reboot where they wont work anymore and you have to reinstall them every time you boot up.

They spent more time programming the security messages than the actual OS itself.

And the framework sucks pretty much.

I just want to curbstomp vista.
