Looks to be good, no multiplayer is a real let down though. And it's interesting that they went with lesser graphics. The character creator is nice, but I can literally see the skin imperfections on my Mass Effect character and that games almost 2 years old, this game looks to be a bit better than WoW graphics, possibly not even as good as Aion. Either way I still plan to pick this up and hope they implement multiplayer. With D3 on the way this could be some real compeition for it if they added it in.

I do hope that this game get's pulled off. The back story is suppose to follow the realm of George RR Martin's idea's or rather fiction from his books.

And for those that have not read a Song of Ice and Fire series..they are fantastic. (Except he takes FOREVER to release a new Novel)

i tried reading these books when i was younger...read 3 of them...and just couldnt get into them. i think i quit reading half way into the third, which i almost never do.
maybe this game will give me a more interesting take on the series

The first two books I thought were great, 3 was OK, and 4 was a TOTAL drag, it was more of a missing links wrap up. But the 5th Book I think still didn't come out after 7 yrs of writing or something.

Oblivion is made by Bethseda. But what exactly do you mean as the 2 examples you are given are some of the best RPG's out there.

I know it's by Bethesda, and I just don't think either of them are good RPG's. Mass Effect is loads better than Oblivion (which I don't like at all, don't really know why), but as an RPG it's still not as good as the old games. I see both of them more like adventure games.
