[WTB][US] Motherboard, CPU, and Memory

A friend of mine is looking to fix his current system which currently has a bad socket A board and 3200+ Athlon XP proc. I just wanted to see if anyone would have a board, proc, and memory for $150 or under for him. If it is a PCI-E equipped board he probably will need a video card as well and I think anything would be an upgrade over his Geforce 4 TI 400

Note: His son is very sick and he would need the items to be held for 2 weeks until he gets paid again

Want a cheap pci-e card? How about an 8600GT? It's lowend but an upgrade from the 400.

I'm flexible on the price, pm me if your interested.

Theres some good cheap board/ram/cpu combos here surely we can put together a cheap system fairly quick.

Not sure what your asking "Ultra or A model?" Gigabyte made 3 different versions of the GA-7 boards, GA-7VA, GA-7VAX, and GA-7VAXP. The GA-7VAXP supported DDR400, and also has RAID on board. If I recall correctly, it also has 5.1 audio. Realtek I believe.

That was the two options that came up on their site when checking the board out. No sweat, I think he will take what he can get for now.

When you mean cheap, does this qualify:

Socket 939 Mobo (Asus made), single core 3700+, and 512MB DDR400 for $45 shipped.

I've got an E6600 I'll give em for free if I can locate it. Would that work? I had a intel 955 board that went with it but gave it away some time ago.
