I remember the 650W version got a great review on bigbruin.com. Haven't seen anything on the 1000W yet.

I have seen mixed reviews on HEC. I have chosen to steer clear of them for this reason. I have to admit that I was on the fence several times on buying their products...

In a state of flux...
The HEC is nice but this is unbeatable price for what you get:

&

A very decent price for the 750 and 850w units.

On the other hand, I'd get the 750w "HX" for $10 more than the HEC because its Silver rated not Bronze and with the ammount of time I use my rig/s it may pay off to have this PSU over the HEC due to its better rating... and did I mention its good Corsair quality?

Woody's PSU or the Corsair would probably hadle just as much as that so-so 1000W at a better price.

If only it were modular...

All I did with the cables I didn't use was neatly roll them up cable tie em and tuck em away. This PSU carries a 7 year warranty and I've only had it for a year. So 6 years left, and at 95 dollars I'm all but giving it away.;) Seriously if your looking for a TOP Quality PSU for an affordable price this is it. Anyone here can vouch for that. That or that Corsair posted above are your best options at the moment.;)
