While it might not be for everyone (or hardly anyone at all), the titanium mouse does look really slick. Made by the folks at Intelligent Design, the "ID Mouse" was shown off at a conference called Dutch Design Week 2009.

Featuring the only scroll wheel made out of neodymium, the ID Mouse is a wireless, Bluetooth-compatible mouse that uses a laser tracker, and is suitable for both right-handers and left-handers. You can even get the mouse in two different shades to match your unbelievably expensive computer: it comes in either white or black.

It looks like a piece of steel that was heated up and bent. I like it, but definitely not worth $1200, I'd give them $15 for it.

This is one of those items that would be considered art by many. It is style and substance over functionality and ergonomics. Art of this type is usually expensive and marketed towards people in a very low percentile.

That's a pretty bleak outlook on artists. After looking at the company's website, it seems that they are hand-built per order and the people selling them are just geek/artists. Besides, it's just perfect for the computer on daddy's yacht.

I bet the mouse does a lot for you and feels exquisite in person, the pic probably isn't doing it justice but neither is the price lol. So unless its having a %95 off sell I'm not buying it either.

Actually, I think that KB is pretty bad ass. Each key a LED display that shows exactly what that key is issigned to do. I'd love to have one. Honestly, at $1700 for a keyboard with 113 LED displays is alot more reasonable than $1200 for a 3 button laser mouse IMHO (too bad I can't afford either).
