I agree: If anybody has one of those video cards?

Yes, it would be cool just to see as an experiment, how TRULY fast those GPU's can go thru a set of 5 work units (so we can see a TRUE overall score in units processing).

(You wouldn't imo, even HAVE to stay on it & keep doing it for the team here, but just to see WHAT it truly CAN do)...

* I have been hearing 40x the speed of what a CPU can do them in - this, I want to see.

getting 8 mins/1%...client operates @ 2D speeds.

Overclocking to 688.5/747 gets 6 minutes 6 seconds.

client does 220pt WU's that are given 4x credit. each WU should take 12 hours...so 440 PPDx4=1760points. Or so it goes. I have too many clients going to keep track of what's what in terms of real-life points.

I wouldn't jump on that just yet...wait and see how they really give out the points. Maybe a couple months or so, and we might have an accurate picture. There really aren't alot of these cards out there in the first place, in the scheme of things...so that must be noted as well.

Also in the super computing world... we'll actually be able to use those dual 32x pci-e mobos..
