for me, this one represents a better deal. thinking of getting Borderlands, RE5, Ghostbusters and Order of War (which is a definite). the problem with PC games is that they depreciate quickly, within 6 months, the prices go down in retail stores, so i'm torn between buying them now, or waiting to see IF the prices will go down on these games. what are your thoughts on Borderlands?

I played the PC version of RE5 and the controls ruined it for me. It's like Dead Space but only worse. The whole thing felt really messy and unorganized, like some kind of mod for another game. I'm also thinking about Ghostbusters, but I can't see myself playing it that much as it doesn't have multiplayer like it's console counterparts do.

Pick up a game pad, i got the MS 360 pad for the pc and it was bliss. Its one of those games where it really is needed to enjoy it.

same with dead space/lost planet they really benefit from having a pad for the pc.

when you get used to it, the game is incredible.


i rtied to play it like a run n gun FPS and sucked hard - when you slow down and play it like the console game it is, it works wonderfully.

RE5 feels fine with the PC controls once you get use it, it's definitely catered toward more the console gamers when it comes to controls, but its a great game overall.

Dead Space can also be a pain, the mouse always lags behind and even changing the sensitivity doesn't do much. You actually have to disable Vsync for your mouse to stop lagging behind, but once you do, the actual ingame mouse movements lag. So i just keep it enabled, it sucks, but im slowly getting use to it.

What the heck is Trine!?

Trine is Physics plus awesome. It is basically a physic engine test in the form of a game, but it proves to be a very niche game that keys into three important key points of games. It is addictive, unique, and has a diverse gameplay system.

The story is simple. You play three characters trapped in one body because they touched the Trine. They are now on a quest to find a way to separate from each other. The only things standing in their way is an army of undead, hundreds of physics puzzles/tasks, and simple platforming greatness.

I love Trine. I played the demo (the first stage) for 4 hours just to find more ways to complete tasks and kill enemies. I would highly recommend it for the $20 of its standard price, and if it goes on sell for $15, I will be getting the full copy. Trine is one game I am waiting on a sell soon.
