Just curious what you guys think a XFX 4870X2 is worth used? I've had mine for about 6 months, bought it 6/7/09 for $379.99. I'm parting out my system so I'm trying to get an idea of what to ask for a link-new, never abused XFX 4870X2. Is $280 shipped a fair deal?

Dang, I think I would do $230 if no one bit, but I would think $250 shipped for a card that keeps up with the $400+ 5870 would be a pretty good deal.

Keeps up, but consumes alot more power and isn't DX11.

I've seen 4870x2's in the UK for £175, and everything here costs more... so $230 would be fair.

Actually slightly smaller, but oh well. :ohwell:
The 5870 is 11.1 inch long....
5970 (13.1 inches?) > Sapphire 4850X2(~11.2 inches) >= 5870(~11.1 inches) > 4870X2(~10.5") = GTX 260/275/280/285 (10.5") :respect:

The 4870X2 also runs alot warmer.

Edit: Ok....

Such is life. I've got two pcs here collecting dust, one E8400-4780Crossfire, one Q6600-2900XT Crossfire. both do nothing but crunch...selling them I'd get very little.:shadedshu

It pains me when I realize I've played Bioshock twice, about 10 minutes of Fallout 3, (literally) a total of 14 hours of TF2, and probably 15 hours of Modern Warfare 2. That is all the gaming I've had the time to do since I bought this monster i7 rig w/ the 4870x2 last December. I almost feel bad for the card LOL. Between working full-time at a university and attending the university full-time, I just don't have the....well, time for it!

Oh well. It's a lesson learned.

Heck, that rig will still last a few years...no upgrades needed. I've lost the need to upgrade every time something new is released. I'm working on building an eyefinity rig...I have no plans to finish it before summer.
