Ok guys here my problem. i got a Radeon HD 5770 1gb GDDR5 PCI-E card. i put it in my computer and computer is not booting up. Now it does have power when when i turn computer on but i get no system beeps telling my anything is wrong, it just sits there. so i was like great DOA on card. Well i put my old card back in, computer boots up perfect, so no issues with computer. i took card to a friends house, and put the card into his computer, boots up perfect for him- no issues. so i iknow the card is fine. i dont know why its not working in my computer. Heres my Specs. Now to just state the oblivious i have check all the cords, nothing touching, everything is plugged in, the 6 pin PCI-E power is plugged in, the video card fan boots up fine, i can see that. i do here a small clicking noise from the 6 pin plug in area on the V0card it self- so i tried the 6pin that came with the card not the one my power supply had, still does the same thing. quiet click happens once sometimes twice. i have a 650 watt power supply, thats plenty of power, the specs on card says 400w tops so, little confused. I remove the card, i get the long beep and 2 short beeps from computer stating that no video card is found blah blah blah you all know. so thats why i am wondering what the heck is wrong. this is a custom built computer. k heres the specs.

I heard some older boards might have issues with newer cards. Could this be one?
Try looking for an updated BIOS for the board.

Does that nForce4 SLi board have jumpers or a switch card to set SLi? Is it in the right position for "single card"?

OK so i talk to the ATI guy over then phone he says my power supply PCE-I express power 6 pin has not enough voltage needs to be at 25v. so ok. went to frys got a new power supply that has the 6 pin at 25v, and NOTHING. still doing the same thing. Old V-card still loads up fine.

Rookie no cross fire setting in the bios. but it is to be boot from peg 1, slot 1 and is the same spot. as far as i know it firmly in. other that still at a loss.

P.S not running SLI just 1 v-card.
