I'm still pissed at M$ and Bungie for keeping H3 X360 only. I know they compete w/Sony & Nintendo pretty heavy but damn release some games for the PC M$.

Whatever happened to "Halo 3 is the end of Halo?"...

Oh well, I guess I'm just kind of annoyed that Halo ODST took me 3 hours to finish and gave me all the DLC I already had except for firefight which I found lackluster. Aaand all for the magnificent price of $60+ (Canadian)

Its a prequel so dont sweat.

Halo 3 was a pretty unspectacular ending to the series AND i still dont get what the halo rings actually do!

Yeah, I'm also pretty annoyed at that, I prefer FPS on PC. I'd be interesting if they implement DX11 on Halo 3 PC if it does come out.

I think Halo: Reach story will be the best in the series. I do like the whole 'lone ranger' thing that most FPS do, however I prefer when a bit more realism is added and it seems that the odds are stacked against the Spartan II with death the likely outcome (well obviously). However I think they'll make the whole "Spartans don't die, they are just MIA" thing the end story, with you not seeing the death of your character or whole squad. It looks promising though.

They are a failsafe to stop the "flood". They explained that in the first Halo.

When the flood gets lose, the old folks would activate a "Halo" which would promptly destroy the galaxy the flood was lose in. That way it could not spread.

Gravemind i kept thinking of him, hes just like the leader of the flood or something i dunno i lost interest too i just finished it for the achievements lol. I didnt do any of the skulls or that tho so i aint no whore!

I thought you played all the classic FPS back in the day? like wolfenstien, quake and doom to name a few? or is it that you just started to custom build like in the past few years

Customs builds. All my friends had PCs and I played most of those games there. Growing up I didnt have much money.
