Any real reason to do Prestige Mode in MW2?

Just like the title says…

I don’t really like or care about the emblems, titles, or added build slots.

Anyone have any input?

no, it is pretty much just a mode showing what youve accomplished. I would be interested, had I not seen prestiege accounts after one week. Those hacking fucks ruined it for the rest of us, off with their fking heads.

Yeah! G-dam. Ater my second day i already saw the first prestige. Or at least level 50+.
I,m prestige 1 now and im not doing 2,3, etc. Now that i know its nothing special. Maybe when i have almost all challenges done. 1 extra class is nice, but what do you get at higher prestiges?

No sense in prestige. Youll get more fun in just levelling up your guns and perks.

Yeah that's what I am doing now...but unlocking things doesn't really take me that long...which sucks. Guns like the FAL and all handguns other than the revolver (because I already have the TAC knife attachment and lets face it that’s the only reason to really use handguns in MW2) are not even fun playing with because I can't stand single fire weapons in Modern Warfare 2.

My only lolz with MW2 now is trying to get Dropping Crates. I highly doubt I am going to get the game winning kill with a care package kill before Bioshock 2 comes out. But damn it, I’ll spend the next 27 days trying to get it!

actually it wasn't that hard to get...i got in on a 3rd person cage match and ended up getting the game winning kill by tossing the care package up where someone was trying to snipe me. but i literally just got it after 'trying' to get it for the last 10 days.
