The X1600 Pro is the better card but dont get the 512mb version, go for the 256mb version (because the X1600 Pro doesnt make use of the 512mb of graphics because its not exactly an high-end card)

Or if you want a better increase in performance go for an X850 (X850XT preferably) or X800 card (as both cards usually overclock well also) ;)

Cost of Sapphire GTO2 is a little MORE expensive then the X1600PRO. But hell you got to change to PCI-E =X If not get the X800Vivo or X850vivo then unlock to 16pipe.

How much do you wanna spend?

Visiontek Radeon X1600 XT Gamer Edition / 512MB GDDR3 / AGP 8x / Dual DVI / VIVO / CrossFire Ready / Video Card http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2467311&CatId=0

OR you could get the X1650PRO which is the same card. You have to pay attention to the fact some are DDR2 and others will be DDR3.

SAPPHIRE 100174L Radeon X1650PRO 256MB 128-bit GDDR3 AGP 4X/8X CrossFire Support Video Card - Retail $129.99http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814102057

You can go back to the X800 or the x850 and get great performance, They are older cards and do not have all the same features that the new ones will have.

Nivida also has cards like the 7800GS it just how much do you wanna spend, and what would you wanna do?

My budget is less than $200 and i want to buy it at futureshop or bestbuy because i wanna exchange my redeon x700 pro which i just bought recently, but i think they dont carry any radeon X800 in agp only in PCI-e which is i dont have.thats why Im only good for agp cards

x1650 AGP edition... that's what you want. Get the store to order it if it's not in stock.

Also think about X800 on ebay (risk) or internet store (with warranty)

The X850XT may not have SM3.0 but it would still smoke any X1600 model card :D

By the looks of it both of those stores have a terrible selection of GFX cards so your limiting yourself as to what you can get.

Couldnt you shop elsewhere and sell your X700 on (ie to a friend or on ebay)

I wouldnt go for the X1650 Pro either because it is still only 128Bit.

You could get something like this from newegg m8 (X850 Pro 256Mb like Azn Tr14dZ said earlier) for only $129.99:

LMFAO, how can it be 'CrossFire ready' when its an AGP card FFS (or have I missed something and theyve created a CrossFire AGP mobo! ROFLMFAO). The 512mb X1600 cards are aimed at n00bs that think the more memory you have on the card the better it will perform (ie an X1600 Pro 512mb Vs a X1800XT 256mb, we all know that the X1800 is the better performer but the general public doesnt)

Just use this to compare cards: http://www.gpureview.com/show_cards.php

And Im sure that your mobo will handle a X850

Look at these m8:

X850 Pro Vs X1600 Pro: http://www.gpureview.com/show_cards.php?card1=58&card2=369

X850 Pro Vs your current card: http://www.gpureview.com/show_cards.php?card1=58&card2=322
