Help me choose the right MIC for PS3 + PC

Hey lads.

I need to buy myself a mic for gaming on the PS3 and also on the PC.

So I have been checking ebay and have found 3 mics that sounds very good

The official one is not bad at all, and its compatible with the HQ mode.

some games support it, its just a hi quality audio setting. Sounds better.

Hands down, it has to be the official one. And when you get it, connect it via the USB cable to enable the HQ mode

LOL, the only audio you get through the headset is the other players voices

Yeah, generally, 1x earpiece headsets only allows the user to hear other players voices, as opposed to PC double earpiece headsets/headphones that transmit in game audio and player voices

Does that make sense?

Ive tried a few different Bluetooth headsets on my PS3 (including the GioTeck model) and I must admit, non of them compare to the official SONY one

PLUS, you only get the HQ mode that improves the sound and gives you an onscreen display when the mic is muted or volume changed with the official model

TBH, for PC gaming, a double earpiece headset is the way to go, but for the PS3, you cant beat the official one

I can only buy movies, games and stuff from there.

I have to buy it on ebay which is over priced.
But me and my bro need a good mic piece so We will just stick with it anyway

What about GAME/GameStation, they should be cheaper then the overpriced ebay

Im at work at the moment and cant access GAMES site lol, but i did check @ GameStation for you (their other store name) and they sell them for £24.99 delivered....but they are out of stock

What about tryinh ebay.co.uk, not ebay.ie

Typical innit, I sold an official headset the other day for £15 (it was my sons and he didnt need it anymore because he went bakc to the 360 lol)

Am level 20 at the moment with VALOR!
I like it anyway
I don't really like the 256 player maps tho!
I prefer 64 player!

bets to game at night, cause during the day..those minors don't heal you..even with the symbol over there heads that clearly state they can heal you!!
Too busy trying to shoot someone down!
Useless wankers!
