Corsair vs PC P&C vs Silverstone

This is not for any particular system; I'm wondering in general if one of these PSUs is of a higher quality. Push considerations like aesthetics and cables aside for now. I welcome comments on the difference in efficiency and noise, but again, my main interest is to compare the durability, longevity, build quality, reliability, and quality of the power these PSUs put out.

Silverstone OP750

All three are listed with 60a on a single 12v rail. Feel free to compare these to any other single-rail 750w PSU as well. I'm researching more online as I watch this thread and will add anything of interest I find.

Corsair and PCPC are essentially SeaSonic/Delta.

Not sure who that Silverstone is made by though.

Each SeaSonic manufactured is hand inspected in Los Angeles, CA by an electrical engineer. So I side with SeaSonic more. (Their high efficiency high wattage units, like the S12, M12 ect)

Do you know of any single 12v rail 700w-800w PSUs of the same general quality as these, that are a real steal (like an OEM or unknown brand that is equal in quality but can be found at a significantly lower price)?

Corsair wins with their newer HX models. The TX is on par with PCP&C

I believe the new HX series actually has a better build/power quality than the TX series, though not that big of a difference

Corsair's HX series is a higher efficiency PSU design. Better overall.
PCP&C is owned by OCZ, so time will tell if their original quality remains.

As stated above, you can't really go too far wrong with any of the ones in the line-up.

My money remains on Corsair's HX series though. I am, however, biased

I can vouch for all three of these PSU's as I have seen them all in action.

Corsair - reputation bro, he gives the damn thing a bad review/rating
PCP&C - AMAZING PSU, I own one
Silverstone - My buddy has had a 650watter from them for about four-five years now, overclocked and running a decent higher end system the whole time, still going strong and powering a quad and Crossfire at the moment.

You just can't go wrong as it was stated earlier

The Corsair HX750 Or HX850, the best you can get for the money, plus 7 years warranty. FTW.

The TX750 is made by CWT not Seasonic. So is the HX line from the 750 and up.
And the Silverstone Olympia OP750 is built by Impervio

The HX850 is actually a bit of an anomaly, even for Corsair. It's simply, well, awesome.
Some reviewers have been able to run this particular PSU above its 850w rating, without the thing shutting down or losing much in the way of efficiency.
A good, honest appraisal can be found on good ole jonnyguru's site HERE. The reviewer is the barely sane OklahomaWolf, who probably knows more about PSUs, than half the PSU makers out there

Plus he(OklahomaWolf) really thoroughly tests the PSUs, from low to full load, with noise&ripple suppresion and even crossload tests. He is awesome. And he even takes the unit apart and explains the insides and the OEM.

What worries me, is the quality since OCZ took them over. OCZ tends to suffer from MBS (Marketing BS), rather than concentrating on quality assurance/control.
They're great in some of the industry's best hype, but not all that great in actually performing anywhere near the hype (not saying they're bad though!).
PCP@C on the other hand, was a lot more subdued in their approach, yet managed to deliver some of the industry's best products..

Personally I don't think so - not by a great margin I'd imagine. Others here may have a different experience though.
If you look around jonnyguru's site, you'll most likely find a review on whichever PSU you might be after.
If nothing else, you will get an honest appraisal, even if the brand in question is your personal favourite/religion/can't-read-bad-stuff-about-it sort of deal

The HX line is superb, even the HX650(Seasonic built). It just depends how much juice you need.

Also a extremely good PSU is the Antec Signature 850W, it is not a single rail design, but the 12V3 and 12V4 each get a PCI-E 8 pin + 6 pin combo, and 50A total 12V power available for the video cards alone, and it has exceptional ripple and noise suppression. But it is not cheap,

I had a 610w Silncer think it was 48a Single Rail ran my 775 quad Oc'd/2 8800gt/780i/2 Raptors/2 DVDs/Dominators for 3 years without any issues...I still have a 1000w that is insane 80amps or something its currently dormant but its in process of being used.

I had a Corsair 750(original) Modular pop on me before I picked up the PC & C luckly it didn't take any hardware with it, I thanked it for that.
