I'm trying to take the grill off of my Z3-e Sub but can't seem to do it. Googling the problem turns up no results on how to do it, but there are videos/pictures of it without the grill.

I've tried to get a flat head screwdriver in to the edge of the grill but can't seem to manage, just ended up scratching it. Perhaps I just don't have a thin enough screwdriver? But any thinner and it'd just snap!

I want to take it off so I can paint it red.
Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks everyone!

Tried using cable ties first of all and doing as erocker said, but they weren't long enough and I could get a grip on the ends.

As Dr. Death said, it was glued - I also saw videos of people saying about that.

Eventually got it out using a screwdriver down the side of it, shoved a few layers of paper next to it and levered against it (I didn't have the paper to start with and slightly damaged the housing. Live and learn.)

Got primer on yesterday, so will put the red on later today. Don't think I've got any 'before' pictures, but Google will help there. Will take a picture once it's good and red.

Dented from the pressure of the screwdriver on it and some minor scratches. It's not bad though, so I'm not worried.

Here it is. Looks a bit odd to start with, but it's hidden away so usually looks like a very dark red almost black. I'm really happy with it, and that's all that counts!

Thanks again guys!

Hmm what led you to that conclusion? His name? His case? His red case fan? His red carpet? Or even the red wall behind his red subwoofer?

Haha. It gets worse/better:

Walls.
Carpet.
Case.
Mirror frame.
Clock.
Curtains.
Bed sheets.
Lamp.
Bin.
Car.
Name.
Lots of clothes.
Paintings. (Mainly red.)
Shelves.
Lights.
Dishes/Mugs/Knives and forks.

Still got those bloody annoying blue LED Antec fans though. Going to paint the rest of the metal on the outside of the case once the weather gets a bit better too.

If I had the money, I'd buy all red parts for the PC too!
