I searched around the first few pages of this forum and didn't see much on Wings Of Prey. I only got this the other day, but I've not been able to put it down. I fly on realistic using a cheap Saitek AV8R-01 joystick, and they released a patch yesterday that has made the game much better. They've added much more to the flight sim settings to attract more serious contenders.

Me? I just like a dogfight on 'realistic' settings, the screens are of me and a mate of mine online over the Kent coast. It's so much fun this game, I hope it catches on. And graphicswise, it's stunning. Even on this 4850, where you can't have the 2 extra high and super high texture settings, just on high it looks fantastic. So all you guys with modern graphics cards can probably max this at insane resolutions with no problem, because it runs very smooth as well.

Check these screens, even at a mere 1680 x 1050, it looks pretty nice. Well I think so anyway...:toast:

Cool, any thing like IL-2 ?.. Birds Of Prey is the next IL-2 when it's released on PC.

I have it too.
I find the multiplayer lacking. No dedicated servers.
Yuplay servers are garbage.
Not sure when steam will get some servers up for it, or if they will at all.

It was a nice looking game though, don't get me wrong.
Has some decent sim options.
But no where near as in depth as IL-2.
Hell of a lot prettier though.

It was fun, but I'd wait for a discount.

They haven't sorted the online stuff totally. But they are working on it, dedicated servers are coming too, they're what this game needs.

The developers DO seem to care as well, they've already addressed a lot of problems and are working to correct what remains.
