I`ve have an eyefinity setup running 3x24" monitors in portrait mode at 3600x1920.
Every time I try to load the game I get "failed to find working fullscreen mode"
I`ve tried everything from internet searches for the same problem and gone into the sortcut of the game to open in different window modes, but no luck.

I went into the coh folder and went into the sysconfig LUA file and changed the res there to 3600x1920, but with no luck.
There is no info in the LUA file to change to 16:10 to 16:9.
In most games you can get the aspect ratio changed it will give different resoultions, but there is no way I can get the game even to open to be able to change the ratio.

Help Please!!!

Why would you run 3 monitors in eyefinity in portrait mode ?

space really!!

what a waste :shadedshu I really suggest you try and make space and run them in landscape mode 5760x1200, its probably the fact your running in portrait mode that is the problem, not eyefinity.

while i dont know that if it is an issue because you are in portrait mode, it doesnt make any sense to run a video game in portrait mode. heh.

Support isn't there for portrait mode yet. I'm skeptical if it will ever happen. Does it work with any other games you've tried?

space really!!
The Man! I agree, IF you can get it to work, it would be better than running 3 in widescreen landscape... it is a better overall balance of up/down view with left/right.

What is the point of being able to see 270° left right, owl-view, if at the same time you get shot from a first floor window because you are seeing the world through a letterbox!?

yeah are you sure it's portrait? are they stacked on top or side by side?

3600x1920 sounds like a landscape view, not portrait. portrait would be 1920x3600

am i wrong here?

OOO k! now I understand. Each individual monitor is in Portrait mode in order to create a larger landscape view.

don't know the answer, but nice setup :)

haha you thought same as me, 3 monitors stacked on top of each other in portrait mode  I would still try landscape anyway to rule it out

that is a great setup. do you find the black space between the monitors distracting though?

Well Guys.....I did it!!!!
It was a fluke really.
After a the hassell i went through to get this game to run at 3600x1920 in eyeinfinity, I decided to disable it and run a single monitor at 1920x1200 and the game worked.
The only graphic options in game was automatic and custom and the top res was 1920x1200.
So i shut down the game and set the monitors back to portrait mode again, so I thought "To hell with it", and ran the game again. So all the monitors went black and up came the game, but only on the right screen in landscape mode "WTF".....and this is the fluke....I had no way of changing the res cause half the options off screen, so i opened up Task Manager to quit the game and before the game had shut down for a split second the game went full screen and then shut down.
I then ran the game and again the same thing in landscape mode...so up came task manager, so instead of clicking on end task in the box to shut the game down, I just clicked on a space on the screen and it righted itself on all 3 screens with the option of 3600x1920.

Hey, maybe in the future we could try and help the OP out (the point of the thread) instead of disparaging his desire to do things a certain way. ;)

I've been wondering if you could remove the bezel from some LCDs to eliminate that gap.
