Interesting, I never played the other games, looks like Risk with it being divided up into zones. I assume the large characters are just place holders till you zoom in on that zone? I do need something to finally dethrone Age of Empires 3, maybe this will be such a thing?

Infadel. Civ is so much more than that. Buy it, and be ready to invest a couple hundred hours getting your ass kicked at normal settigns untill you learn to multi-micromanage.

No, apart from AoE3 being epic fail AoE = RTS, this is TBS. Can't really compare them.

QFT AoE3 was terrible. Absolute trash compared to AoE2

Totally loved the 4th one playing coop was a blast then the fighting part started and it was so lame.

Like come on whats the frigging point of having high tech if a archer can take out a tank RALMFA.

I do agree AoE III was worse than 1 and 2, but I really can't stand looking at 1 or 2 anymore, where as 3 looks good and I just mess around on it and have a decent amount of fun. Been hoping for something new that looks decent and has more of a fun factor, but nothing else has really come along. But confused on what you were saying no to there as I did kind of ask multiple questions.
