Please Add Support for BC2 Sig Banner

W1z,

I am creating this thread soley to ask if you'd be kind enough to enable support for this site's Sig Banners: http://bfbc2.elxx.net/sigg-o-matic.php

I thought I remembered TPU supporting similar banners for CoD4, Xfire and similar, and am just hoping we can add support for this title too. Not much more to it really, just hoping to be able to see my updated stats in my TPU sig is all. I'm sure other users agree and hopefully they'll post in support, and hopefully it's not a problem to add support for, afterall I don't want to hinder TPU in any way for a simple game stats banner.

Some websites spread virus, bad stuffs through these things. Or advertising their own website (sig is linked?). So this is up to Wizz.

I do support the idea though.

Yep, and so far on my Clan forum there have been no issues with the banner, but that doesn't mean much considering we get waaaaay lower volume visitor-wise than TPU does. We'd be a pretty small and useless target.

But so far things seem ok with this site and it's BC2 stat banners, I'm sure there'll be quite a few more like it very soon.

Me too, i believe the average internet bandwidth today is more than sufficient to handle up to 100kb sigs

Site is still up, it does only update once every 24 hours, but it'd still be something very cool to have floating around in some fellow TPU-er's sigs!

Well after looking it seems they have there own .PNP code that generate the picture from there stats

yes i will write my own code to generate the images .. but i need to pull the stats somehow from ea's servers. some web page that my script can access would be nice

Apparently, EA says:

We've disabled the Stats and Leaderboard pages for now.

EDIT: Then how is that other guy pulling stats?

You would have to try someone that hasnt done it before, because they probably still have the stats that got requested on there server, because i tried at first at school but the site they get it from is blocked, so it didnt work, i went on my blackberry got the stats, went on the computer and they were there.
So that would be my guess in how some guys still have there stats.
