MAN MAN MAN !!! This is the SHIIIIIT !!! I just received this and WOW is all I have to say .
I got my computer all up and running the other day after a complete meltdown . All I had to do was put disk in and setup up the RAID in the BIOS once done this thing needed NOTHING MORE no RAID drivers like all the other sick OS's no floppy with drivers nothing ! Speed ??? this is HANDS DOWN the fastest operating system EVER MADE ! Stable ? SO far not one glitch since installing it . OH and did I mention the fact that if this OS spots an error in a program when installing it can fix that error and run the program ?
Finally an operating system worthy of high praise !

every new OS is like that - they have drivers for hardware older than they are.

you get a new system in 2 years time, and you'll be back in the boat of needing RAID drivers again...

No every new OS is not ! Sorry but I had to get raid drivers for XP and VISTA why would Vista not do this then ? No this is the best yet !
The only real gripe I have is when I did the windows performance thing I get 7.5 CPU RAM 7.2 video and 5.9 STILL on HDD ? I think they could have improved on that side of it . but all in all the best OS EVER !! Just got done playing BIOSHOCK2 for the first time ever and MAN THIS THING EATS RIGHT ON THROUGH IT !

because vista is several years older than 7? you seriously did not get my point.

video performance in vista and 7 is pretty much identical...

sorry mate, you seem to love 7 (and it is good) but you're ranting on about things that have nothing to do with the OS.

Maybe so . I know only that with ever other OS I have ever had I have had to get RAID drivers and install them off a floppy drive not so with the new OS .

But I do love the new OS for sure .

Pretty sure unless you have a SDD in your system you always get 5.9... I do and i have 2TB set in raid on 7200rpm.

Yeah my nephew gets the same thing for his as well and he has one hard drive not RAID0 !
Maybe they just over looked that part of the test ? Any way check this out , After installing Diablo II I got this message said some thing about the program not installing or running right and win7 brings up a screen and it said some thing about using recommended settings to correct this issue , I did , The game works great even better than on Vista and why ? Well I did not add the patch yet that I had to add before I could even think of running it on vista ! Kinda puts the WOW factor in WOW :D

Wow. Your enthusiasm is a bit overwhelming!

Man, I wasn't so lucky...790FX RAID needs driver disk.

LOL Thanks .

I am still peeved off about the hole Vista OS .

What I would like to see now is a win7 vs Mac commercial , HMM since the release of win7 I haven't seen any of them ...
