Win7 64 bit software ?

Well I made a huge change in things . My OS is now 64 bit win7 and well I just do not know what to use to keep it clean . I used wash and go and widows washer in the past for vista 32 bit along with registry mechanic . ( Just got version 9 at the store for win7 64 bit , works great too . )

What do you use to clean , maintain and speed up your win7 64 bit OS ?

What do you mean clean? Like when reinstalling drivers? Why would you need these registry cleaners on a new O/S? I use Black Vipers tweak guides. :toast:

*Malwarebytes I use, for reinstalling video drivers I do things manually (see guide I made), Avast 5.0 is great, and I use Defrag that comes with 7. It works.

CCleaner> to tidy up and registry cleaning
malwarebytes> for addware and maleware removal
Smart Defrag> to defrag harddrive
Avast home edition> Antivirus

Yeah, I expaned my post. For stuff like that I actively get rid of it manually. I guess I just don't let it get to the point where I need programs like that. I just don't trust "Driver Cleaners".

Well thing is most of you Know how I do not , this is why I seek software to help me . Drivers are not what I ever need to clean but things like music and old games or things I install then uninstall , well doing this leaves registry files and old file folders on and this is the stuff I want cleaned .

CCleaner works great .

Advanced SystemCare Free has a tool that will hunt down duplicate files its found under the utilities section of the application..Other useful tools in utilities too!

CCleaner works great .

I should give CCleaner a try. I have a pre-tweaked copy of 7 that I use on a flash drive and just reinstall whenever things get bloated. Reinstalling 7 and getting my backups in order takes no more than oh.. 40 minutes or so. Might as well try CCleaner next time just to try it out. :toast:

Driver Signature Enforcement Override(DSEO for short) version 1.3b

Defragmentation:

Ultimate Defrag (I recommend using an old version, such as 1.5, as it's more stable, however UD3 is out soon, and it's going to be awesome)
Defrag Express version 1.6
(Once you've used Ultimate to do strict file/folder placement of your data, you can use Express to keep things 'topped up' so to speak)

Partition management:

Partition Wizard version 4.xxx

System Restore/Imaging:

Acronis version 2010

GPU/graphics tools:

Nhancer(Nvidia) version 2.xxx
Ati Tray Tools(ATI) version 1.6xx

Spyware/Malware defence:

Spyware Blaster version 2.xxx
Custom hosts file(you can find tons on the web, just make sure to turn off your DNS cache service, or you may have serious web browsing issues).
