Possible New Juggernaut in Gaming Mice

I just read a few reviews about the Mionix Naos 5000 from above and it seems like it is going to give Logitech, Microsoft, and Razr a run for their money. This mouse looks like it will be well built, it is well designed (1 minor flaw), and I think I may have to check this out as a possible replacement for my current mouse.

Anyone here seen this mouse in action or have any comments on what you think of it.

I think you can correct the flaw regarding the feet by running it over some fine sand paper like 200 grit. Just a couple of sweeps to remove the wobbliness. I did that with my old MSI 3.0 and that worked out well, of course you have to be very careful because the feet are very soft, but other than that you are just inducing normal wear a lot faster.

The grip is a little tight, but if you are perfectly comfortable with MS WMO / MSI 1.1, MX518 style mice you will probably like the Mionix grip as well.

BTW: We do try to keep up to date with the interesting gaming mice being released

I am hoping since they just started shipping the mouse not a week ago, that TPU just got a sample mouse. If that is the case, the feet thing is probably just that 1 mouse. The guys at HardwareSecrets didn't have that problem.

Really new company and distribution of the mouse in mass started in December. They aren't really well know enough to get the big names....for now, but here is 1 place you can order right now for the US.

For me is the simple to use software that caught my attention. I have seen people try, but fail at it. I think Mionix may have succeeded on the software front, hands down. Too bad mice with on board memory are illegal to use during tournaments iirc.

I think they are on the right track since this is like their 3 mouse since they got started. I expect them to come up with something a little better, drop price on this to about $70, and they we will here more about them.
