The German version of Wikipedia was hacked a few days ago by authors of the blaster worm. They basically hijacked the article of their worm to make users download the blaster worm. What's worse is that they then advertised the worm by spreading E-mail claiming an outbreak and citing the hacked Wikipedia as reference. The German Wikipedia article was quickly edited by Wikipedia administrators to no longer contain the blaster worm. Sophos claims that there was not a lot of damage done by the hoax, but it does show that the open-door policy of Wikipedia can have some serious flaws.
