Crysis Delayed Until April 2007

In-Crysis has posted a link to an EA conference call that says the highly anticipated DX10 title Crysis, is delayed until April 07.

In a recent earnings conference call, EA have confirmed that Crysis has been pushed back until the next fiscal year. This means that the earliest we can now hope for is an April release.

April is fine, heck I wouldn't mind if they push the game back even further because It'll be a while before I'm getting a machine that can actually run it.

Ahhahahaa, serves right for all those "Directx 10 cards are coming soon, no reason to buy a 9.0 card". Much use they are now, that there is no directx 10 game coming in near future

Agreed, and I really don't think it should be much of an impact. UT2007 will hold us until the serious DX10 games come out, like Crysis and Halo 2. Crysis looks amazing from what I've seen, I'm going to love it :rockout:

it will only be dx10 under vista and you will have to download an update which im assuming is gonna be huge hence there is no dx10 support for the game till vista comes out and ms release the dx10 upgrade for the game i just read this in the most recent pc gamer

FlightX installs dx9.c on all rigs/op sys....even Vista build 5744.. by default ...due to vid card in machines....when dx10 vid card in in rig & vista is installed it will run dx10 after update from M$

Perfect. I've already decided that my tax-return-gift this year is going to be a Dx10 card (Preferrably R600 by then, or maybe the next G80 refresh if its GDDR4 by then), Vista, and finally thsi game when it comes out.
