WOW, all because they do none reference ones ?. If you did get a XFX one make sure it's default clock is higher than 850 as it's those they change thats my mine overclock due to being 875\975 and not reference speeds.

I dont think 125 is a realistic figure m8. i had found one cheap for 140 months ago, but since the 5830 performance numbers came out people are either a: keeping their 4890s or b: jacking prices because the cards are worth it. they are definately worth the $200 new price tag especially when they own the 5830's and those sell for more my 2c

And used price should be close to new price? That's not how it works if you ask me. Maybe the demand is higher now for them, but I don't care. It's a used card and with electronics that means a discount. I don't buy used cars for 80% of what they were new. I pay a small fraction.

Like I said, I can buy a new one for 170 shipped right now. I'm not sure why you think I should pay 150ish for a used one. The only exception is if it has been barely used, modded, new cooler, etc.

Pretty damn tempting. I'm looking for a 4870 1GB as a trade for my E8600 + cash, but no one has bit. A 4890 would work just as well in Crossfire with a 4870x2 and the price is right...

I think the warranty past 30 days on mine is bogus as this is tiger direct we're talking about, and I bet you still have a full warranty. It doesn't matter to me but maybe you'll feel better
