On monitors with resolutions larger than 1280x1024, there are huge blank spots in these two boxes on the main screen. However, the longer thread titles are still cut off.

Is it possible to maybe make the titles adjust so they aren't cut off when the box is big enough to allow the entire thread title to be visable?

Well that would depend on the width of your monitor if you could or not.
However making it so it was a variable that could change to adapt to the space available would be swell.

That is what I had in mind. The boxes adapt to the space available, so I think it would be nice for the text inside the boxes to do the same.

the php code that decides how many characters to show doesnt know your window width

something like overflow-x: ellipsis would work in ie .. but doesnt work in other browser

other javascript solutions are extremely complicated and/or don't work

bring forward a proper solution and it will be implemented

If it is that complicated, don't worry about it.

I was hoping it would be a simple fix that was easy to implement along witht he box sizing code perhaps, but obviously its not.:toast:

Copy the style a few times and change widths for some common screen widths? Let users manually select the non default theme if it bothers them.
