Crusher sold me his HD4850 which i used for a week instead of my GX2 and i loved it! sold the 4850 to my bro for silly money and traded my GX2 for a 4870 (ty moonpig) and my benchies and FPS rate has gone UP w00t. used nvidia since the 6800Ultra so, big step for me. im loving the ATI tho..next purchase is a 5770 for sure. thanks Crusher! :p

It is entirely pointless to go for a 5770 from a 4870.
These cards performs exactly the same.
Go for a 5850 or forget about it.

yes, and it at least offers DX11 instead of 10. which isn't huge but it's something.
I agree a 5850 would be better... but it's also twice as much. if you happen to not have $300USD to spend on a video card, the 5770 will be a decent upgrade.

that right ther is 1 big attraction! the DX11 is just a bonus! only game i play that has dx11 is bc2 which i hardly play anyways..only really play kiling floor.
