I bought a 24" widescreen LCD a few weeks ago & now i am having fun of playing games once again...

Anyhow i found a way to play Doom3 in widescreen mode (1920x1080) or any resolutions that you want to play with...

I know it is an old game now but i thought i share the solution to some of you that may not know how & still will like to play Doom3 again.

Playing through doom3 right now.

Looks really great with 8xAA, just wish I had super sampling on my 4890. I know I can set a larger res to scale down, but for some reason scaling isn't available in my CCC.

Anyways, thx for the headsup.

Yeah their the ones, there are heaps more too, but since Doom 3 never went over a 60fps cap, when you applied the shader mod, which ever one, the system would bogg down to a really low FPS like 20-30fps and that was on like a HD4850, so I stayed away from em, I think Doom 3 is a classic game, still has decent graphic detail as well:toast:

I want it

I had this game up until about a year ago and then sold it for $10.
I want it again because I got my Home Theatre Computer hooked
up and running on the 52" LCD with Dolby Digital. I want to play it all over again.
I have some games I'd trade for it. Far Cry 2, Frontlines Fuel of War, Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter,
Crysis Warhead, and a couple other FPS I can't think of off hand.
I'd trade any two of those for Doom 3 again.
Anyone interested Please PM me. Thanks !

@boise : If you get no response here, you may want to do a [FT] thread in the b/s/t forums. That gets lots of viewers.

A good place to check out widescreen tweaks is here. They have an alphabetical list of games and include the tweaks to run most games in widescreen.
