List with Great Games Mod

Hi all,

I believe many of us in this forum have a thing for games, or if not for games we have a thing for cool/good graphics. The PC gaming scene has(and will always have an advantage) compared to Console Gaming.
MODs

PC games can get updated/upgraded or even expanded with the right moves/tweaks. Of course companies do not have the resources to commit employees to improve games without additional revenues.

Fans though can use their time and the internet to assemble a team of people and use their collective skills and knowledge to change a game for the better. There is a plethora of games mods out there which the average gamer is not aware of. I would love to have this "sticky" thread here where everyone can post a game and its good mods.

A list will be accessible and will let more fans to learn of great Mods for their favorite games. I will do the start:

Neverwinter Nights. That game is legendary for the amount of mods. Oblivion and Morrowind are distant competitors.

Edit: Just noticed, you want links to mods too. Sorry, I am too lazy to find any, plus my school (where I am now) blocks all gaming sites :mad:

Neverwinter Vault is my source of mods for both NWN (plus expansions) and NWN2 (plus expansions).

Fallout 3 Nexus for Fallout 3 mods.

In the case of NWN and NWN2 it's "modules", and not "modifications" which mostly apply to Fallout 3 for example.

And yeah, you read that right. A remake of sorts of Icewind Dale, plus Pool of Radiance.

Deus Ex: Shifter

Awesome mod. It modifies the core game to make it a bit more enjoyable.

Shifter is my attempt at "removing the suck" from Deus Ex, what little of it there is. There are some annoying aspects of the game system, unresolved glitches, and a minor helping of unrealized potential scattered throughout this groundbreaking game. Shifter attempts to address those issues. As one person put it, paraphrased, Shifter doesn't add new content so much as improve the existing content. Shifter makes Deus Ex what it should have been, or at least one interpretation of what it should have been.

Half-Life: They Hunger

Quite old mod for original Half-Life but it's still one of the best zombie single player games ever.
Great atmosphere, great weapons and level design etc.
They were also working on They Hunger 2 using Source Engine but the project seems to be dead since 2008...

One of the most impressive total conversions I've ever seen. Multiplayer only, but the MP is incredibly fun.
