5770 and PSU handsdown, as others have stated you can trial a copy of windows 7 and use the rearm feature to use it for 120 days :toast:

Wouldn't bother with the power supply FOR NOW if your rig is running fine currently with the 3870 as it consumes more power than the 5770.
