It was just last Wednesday when Microsoft released Xbox Live Video marketplace. Unfortunately, there have been a large volume of reported problems. The most common problem is that people cannot complete downloads of movies. Movies are said to stop downloading at a certain point. While this doesn't sound like anything more than an annoyance, Xbox Live Video customers are not allowed to retry the download more then twice before calling Microsoft to refund the spent Xbox Live "points". And even when movies finish downloading, they are full of bugs. Fully downloaded movies sometimes simply do not work, or are not allowed to fast forward, a behavior associated with movies that haven't finished downloading. Microsoft has been working hard since Wednesday night to fix these issues. The average wait time to get a point refund over the phone is about 30 minutes.

The video marketplace is still early, such as xbox live when that was first released damn it was plagued with bugs. The Zune is a good MP3 player just they need to get more use out of the Wifi capability's.

Um.... Microsoft is not the only company who does things like this.... PS3, Wii both have major bugs. MS is very assertive when it comes to fixing the 360, and this will be solved very soon (if it already hasn't been).

When did I say that Microsoft was the only company to do it, they are just the one that does it the most. My statement always wasn't just limitted to consoles.

Also, what problems have the PS3 had? I haven't heard of any wide spread problems with it. Just curous.

PS3's actually a lot less buggy then the Wii. There's all sorts of reports around the internet about the Wii being awful, but oh well :). The PS3 has trouble getting 1080i to 1080i, and just downgrades it to 480p. In computer resolution terms, think of it as turning a game from 1920x1080 into 640x480...yeah kinda awful lol.
