Okay, so about a month ago I noticed my temps on this i3 were a little high, and I knew that I had to open my case up and sort it out... I just got round to doing that.
I took everything apart, but when I got to the Cooler, I noticed some plastic around the base. I gave it a little pull with the tweezers really not wanting to take the cooler off. It wouldn't budge so i sat down for the long haul and took the cooler off...
That bit of plastic was the protective cover for the cooler base! I installed the cooler without removing it! AMATEUR!
Anyway, took it off, applied some TIM and put it all back together. Now it runs at 25C, much cooler than the 50/60C before.
