If its the same performance like the leaked benches and is around the 465 and 5830 and the TDP is really 160W, the pricing should put some serious pressure on the HD5830/50 especially if it has superior SLI performance like the GF100.

BTW, looks like customs cooled versions are already out XD

I just ordered a plain vanilla one from EVGA at stock everything and 768 meg. Please don't make me have to RMA that thing. I just want Metro 2033 Directx 11 max detail with PhysX on at 1280 * 720 on my projector at 30 FPS. Don't let me down.

I'm pretty sure that is it. They only have one SLI connector. This is the 8800 gt of this generation.

Oddly enough all the photos at Newegg seem to be hiding the view of the SLI bridge connectors. Hell the card I ordered that I thought had a shrouded cooler with a fan on the far right end different from the other cards wound up being a photo of the GTX 285 when I zoomed in a bit. I noticed that after I ordered it. Whoops.

That's because the 5830 has no place, it's a bit faster then a 5770, but slower then a 5850, yet the prices for a 5830 is only a couple dollars short of a 5850, which offers much much higher performance. So the 5830 really doesn't have a place, that's why it generally gets so much hatred.

No one is shouting yet that this will be good, were still waiting to see how the card performs.

It's faster than GTX 465, costs less and is way faster than 5830 in everything, if the first bench is correct. That's for 1GB version. 768MB will sit right between 5830 and GTX 465.

Overclocked it might tickle 5850 with 100$ less..

But W1zzards review will tell if that is true or not. I'll be getting one even though I hate the square mounting holes already. Unless 1GB comes really close in 5850 performance and ATI drops price. Doubt that though, the closeness and dropping price.

I have heard there will be 2 versions of 1GB. I am not meaning the overclocked one
The second version is going to be slower and 10$ more than 768MB
It should come out later

Anyhow, I'm getting excited about this, overclocked beats stock HD5850 and even stock GTX 470 in some games :-o SLI scaling seemed pretty awesome and power consumption good and temps fantastic, even overclocked.

Not bad prices at all, that 700MHz Palit Sonic seems nice for 225€.

Might be good for the price, meh the graphic card segment seems to have stalled lately. Might be the card I'm gonna buy, that is, if I adopt that generation I'd like to see how it stacks against the 5830. One thing though, nV's cards look really sexy!

the gtx460 is seeming thus far to live up to it's claims of this generations 8800gt. this should hopefully bring in some more competitive pricing accross the board now if we only had some more dx11 games....

SLId is equal to a 5970 so this will be the dual card. But 2x this is 400usd, and it would outperform a 480 and a 5970, nvidia would kill of their 480 and 5970 would plummet in price. M'aight?

Nvidia killed the tesselation powerhouse but i think its a good tradeoff

Scanned several reviews this morning. Looks very promising (at last - so glad NV is getting their act together!). A new "GTX 260" caliber card for this generation is born!

It's really good option for people who wish to have HD5770-HD5830 performance card and at the same time have PhysX support. In fact GTX 460 would cost the same or might be cheaper than HD5770 + Nvidia Geforce GPU running PhysX.
I would consider buying this card over HD5770 or HD5830
