S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2:

Now, GSC Game World is gearing up to deliver a sequel proper to Shadow of Chernobyl, announcing today that S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 will arrive in 2012. In announcing the game's development, GSC Game World also noted that the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. franchise has now sold more than 4 million units worldwide.

RAGE:

QuakeCon 2010: id's lead designer reveals the post-asteroid-apocalypse action/driving game will hit the PC, Mac, Xbox 360, and PS3 in just over one year; arrives in EU two days later.

today at QuakeCon 2010 in Dallas, the studio's lead designer gave the ambitious new game Rage a hard launch date of September 13, 2011, in North America. The postapocalyptic hybrid of first-person shooter and driving game will arrive on the PC, Mac, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 in Europe on September 15, 2011. A 60fps iPhone version was also shown off at the event.

Crysis 2:

According to Crytek's Twitter feed, Crysis 2 will hit shelves March 22, 2011, in North America and three days later on March 25, 2011, in Europe

The original Crysis featured lush tropical environments, but Crysis 2 takes place in the urban jungle of New York City. Additionally, the sequel is going multiplatform and will be released on the Xbox 360, PlayStation, and return to PC.

Say what? Why would they do that? In Ukraine (where the game is developed) and in Russia there are computer cafes on every corner. It is a really, and i mean Really popular game there. They WILL devolve it for pc.

If multi-platform means no more modding for PC, its a disgrace.

"The studio did not provide much by way of gameplay details for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2. However, GSC Game World did say that the game would benefit from an all-new multiplatform game engine that's being built in house. CEO Sergiy Grygorovych also characterized the game as "the next chapter" in the series."

If I remember correctly, GSC officially supported modding in SoC, but officially stopped it some time after releasing Clear Sky. I am really not sure if this is really the case and what is their current take on the subject. But I sure hope that S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 will be moddable.

Todd Hollenshead said that there will be no news at Quakecon 2010 about Doom 4(which is now over).

It sucks to, becuase they promised at Quakecon 2009 that there would be Doom 4 news at Quakecon 2010, but they went back on that and didn't say shit about it expect ''we are working on it'' etc.
