We will be switching our database backend server to a new machine today. Got some shiny new quad cores with 8 GB

I have noticed that the icon have changed to the Vbulletin icon (the one with the blue V) rather than TPU's power switch when using chrome.

Just noticed it today, the last time I visited TPU was about 5 days ago and if I remembered correctly, I still saw the standard icon then.

After looking through the website, it raised an interesting question in my mind. Feel free not to answer, or just say that it is company info, and I will completely understand. (As an Escrow Officer, I understand financial confidentiality).

But to get to the point, what type of overhead expense is involved in the upkeep of a website of this magnitude? To be clear, I am not interested in any profit info, etc., I am just curious as to upkeep expense.

first post has the specs of our db server, add another server like that for the www frontend minus the ssd.
the reason we can handle our load with just 2 servers is because i [think i] know what i'm doing re server and software optimization

then add all the download servers we have, they are all 100 mbit unmetered and some weak cpu, 1-2 gb of memory, 500 gb ish storage
