Is there such thing as Liquid cooling for gpu?

In your other thread you asked for a program to measure temperatures and I suggested Speccy which you liked. What were the temperatures you had for the processor and the graphics card?

Perhaps they are not so warm...

Also the best thing is to check the temperatures while you have a game playing, because that is the point when a computer most heats up.

If your temperatures are highish, before considering watercooling it is simpler (and cheaper) to try out if your case needs an extra fan or two. How many fans does your case have (excluding power supply fan, processor fan and graphics card fan)?

my i5 took up to 50 degrees. Card took up to 7(and I already put fan speed to 100). I think it is bad. And my PC is producing too much heat (IMO) my case has 2 fans. 1 on side and one at the back.

Depends what you used to really, I personally find the temperatures of my 5770 uncomfortable.

Idles at 46c at the moment and fur mark ( xtreme burning, displacement mapping, post fx 1680x1050) gets the card to 78c, by my standards that's rubbish.

Normally I aim to try and get my cards load temp closer to its current idle temp

haha.....no. Your temps are perfectly in safe range. esp your CPU. If your GPU temps were like 88, cpu at round 70 load, then you could say they were high lol

what do you mean after overclocking to the max? lol you did take the process of upping the bus, testing it with OCCT, upping voltage if unstable, n so on right?

I notice that most of the highest possible GPU speeds are achieved by extreme cooling on low end cards, you could break hwbot records man doiiii

Have you tried over-clocking one at a time to see which is causing the problem?

As far as I'm aware 1445 requires heatsinks on the ram, at-least if you plan on doing it for a long time, I nearly killed me card from running it that fast with no heatsinks XD


Also have to agree with wolf low end cards over-clock like mad, got a 100% over-clock out a 4350 once.

haha yea u def can't just strait up max it out. Every card is unique and can only perform at certain speeds. Ergo i can't clock my HD 5770's core at 950 without 1.25v and can't clock my core at 1050 without 1.312v.

So your card probly crashed due to the clock speed not being stable with the supplied voltage being too low. Try a small oc, say 900/1300 and run it through atitool's artifact scanner. If nothing happens for like 30min its more than likely okay, and you can try to up the clock speed.

For personal simplicity i usually do 10-15min of atitool scanner, then up the core by 10mhz, then another 10min of scanning, n so on till i bug out. then i reduce the clocks by 20mhz from the bug out clock and run atitool for bout 30min-hr, game some.

im not every enlightened in GPU OC ing. the 650MHz you see below is actually the one used in ati overdrive..

and i actually have already put on another fan with scotch tape.
the fan cost 20c.

that lowered the temps to 50Cs.

1445 is the clock speed of the ram on my 5770.

78c is still pretty cool for a gpu I have ones get up to 114c

My last few gpus were around 30c idle and 50c underload.

Hell I had a 4890 that idled at 40 and only went to 60c underload D:

Lower temps are better in every way, over-clocking head room goes up voltage requirements can sometimes go down and longevity of the part cooled goes up ^_^

I tried once.. I put the core clock to the stock clock when I bought it and put the mem clock to the max 1445, it really crashed. lol.. But something I still don't understand are the voltages..
