Just got myself a HP dv6-1216sa laptop for a great price - and it's a beauty. 
There's a lot of horsepower under the bonnet and the basic specs are:
15.6" 1366x768 screen
AMD Turion X2 RM-74 CPU at 2.2GHz
HD 4530 graphics
4GB DDR2 RAM (expandable to 8GB)
320MB HD
TV tuner
Vista Home Premium 32-bit (I'll replace this with Win7 Ultimate 64-bit from my Technet sub)
and a very stylish shiny black case!
FULL SPECS
This is roughly £600 worth of laptop for £400.
How did I get such a deal? This is a discontinued product and Microdirect have them under the HP Renew Program. Microdirect have lots of other models under this program, so just enter "hp renew" in the search box to find them all.
If you get a bargain laptop of any kind, please share it here with the rest of us.
