Do EA seriously think that they can compete with Activision? (MoH Vs CoD)

As usual, too little, too late. MoH was enjoyable, but far too linear and way too short! Can we officially say that CoD has the military FPS crown? I know Black Ops isnt even here yet, but if WaW and MW2 is anything to go by, its going to be far superior to MoH.

Plus don't count out a game which is unreleased - call of duty was heavily stagnated and didn't get the time of day until COD4 came out, and this MOH could be EA's COD4.

CoD titles are about 7 hours long, this MoH was about 4 hours. A 7 hour long SP campaign plus a great MP, is fine by me. But a 4 hour SP campaign and a crappy MP isnt.

Tbh, I'm not defending MOH here, but its just worth stating that in COD MW2, I didn't care a bit about the characters. I did in MW though, in the 2nd though, they opted too much for the cheap cheesy hollywood twist, which ended up in nearly everyone I was interested in, dead. Its like they took bits from every cheap B movie blockbuster and said, here, we want a fight in the white house. We want the General to be a collaborator with the ruskies (I forgot the story though, maybe I'm wrong here). We want a classic run & gun in the favellas.
That said, whilst MW2 was forgettable, MW was great, even though it was still highly scripted. It seems they cared back then. Anyways, it was good for 2007, not good anymore.

Because Im limited to the console versions, the CoD MP suits me better than the BC2 MP. But thats just me personally. PC wise, BC2 MP offers more variety.

CoD - World At War was great, good SP and great MP (well I thought so anyway)

I do judge a game mainly on the SP, maybe Im just a loner lol and the Battlefied Bad Company 2 SP was pretty boring

One thing I will admit, no MP game compares to the original Battlefield 2 on the PC.

Yep ! I bought MoH though and it isn't bad. About what I expected. Got to love itwhen folks don't like something they say it is a total waste of money and imply for everyone. Thank goodness we can make our own decisions and not have to abide by there opinions. Reminds me of movie critics. If you are bored with what you are playing and have an extra $60 go for it.
