I need some more advice on my system. I have modified it wholesale since my last thread (I think the only remaining component is the CPU) if you can call adding and subtracting items from a wishlist 'Modifying'. I'd appreciate some more advice on it, especially the PSU because I can't say I'm totally confident in its ability to support this system. Here's a picture and a precautionary link should it upload incorrectly.

Constructive criticism and opinions are welcome in all fields.

your build is gay :p

Remove that horrible PSU masquerading as a Corsair, get something of more quality instead like the TX or VX ( or even AX :D) series.

Also, get an aftermarket cooler, something along the lines of Cm 212+ is good.

Get rid of that Razer Carcharias, its a POS (although some might disagree). For that money you can get something much better.

I would defo swap out the PSU and opt for something a little better, yest it is Corsair, though their latest value PSU's the CX range are not as good as previous ones, why skimp on the PSU in a £1k build? heck you spent more on your headset :wtf:

Rams is weak at 1333mhz get at least 1600mhz, motherboard is ok though dont expect it to be a great overclocker, and no need for aftermarket cooling if your not overclocking

And yea, what is with the "gaymen" title? :wtf:

I hope by "basement" you mean a small dark room below ground level, as opposed to a small dark room in the body

I have to agree. I absolutely love my charachias, but if I had to do it again I would never pay more than $50 for them.

G500 is the newer G5 version, not the other way around. G9x is the newer version of the G9.

The TX is of course better, but the Builder series aren't that bad either. If you have the cash go for the TX, if you want to save some money go for either BUilder or that Coolermaster one.

According to my budget I could get the Logitech G35 set of headphones as a replacement to the Carcharias. Is there anything better I could get for £100 on aria?

You might want to try Creative HS980

I used the older version and I found the sound passable (for the price) and slightly uncomfortable because it clamps my head rather tightly.

You might want to take a look at the PC350

Or Roccat Kave

I have tried both and IMHO the PC 350 feels better (G35 is tight), and there is a mod to make it sound better over in Head-fi. PC 350 gets my vote.
