Heloo... :)

Kindly wanna ask to you...
Everytime I played Dirt 2, only black screen appeared on my monitor, but sound's still be there.
I saw advice from the neighbour, that it could be fixed by change -- <directx forcedx9="false" /> became "true" -- in its hardware settings. It was alright, no matter at all, but the game ran in DirectX 9 mode of course...

The problem is, I bought GTX 460 few days ago in order to feel the performance of DirectX 11 in my Win7 Ultimate 64bit, and I disappointed for the results. I used the newest Nvidia driver 260.99, the newest DirectX files of June 2010, and my windows always updated.

And I had the same problems if played Aliens vs Predators in DirectX 11 mode.

Please enlighten me about these problems.. THX.. :respect:

lcx13n for AVP, run the direct X file in the games folders, then restart your computer should work, AVP needs a specifix version for some reason, dont ask me, just give it a try, same thing for dirt 2. that should fix your problem, and if by chance you have the steam version of avp/dirt2 right click the game go to options, go to local files, and verify the game files. for avp

I'm pretty sure you need SLI cards and to upgrade your ram to fix this.

Na, kidding aside uninstall the game, completely remove drivers and reinstall drivers, and reinstall the game.

Still have problems? Check for game updates/patches, DX updates, and perhaps check the game's site's forums for help.

i don't think it's ur pc, it can be a software problem, remember to update the game totally and all that, and take DirectX, C++ and more it make got on the disc, always in it if it don't say u can repair it minimizes the failure of lunching the games big time.

Yess, Dirt2 is OK.. Just set the AA not greater than 8, you can play Dirt2 DirectX 11 with GTX 460. I think it's just the driver issue. Later, I hope the next NVidia driver can solve this bug...

But AVP DirectX 11 mode, I got nothing... No matter whatever I did, include set the AA, screen resolution, bla..bla..bla... I only got sh*t...

And once more, GPU have read the PCI bus only version 1.1, not 2.0. This result is came from GPU-Z 0.4.8... Do you know why???
