Since I am downloading separate stuff because I am using french windows 7 I decided to do a quick checkup for whats different between 10.12 and 11.1. The following four packages were analyzed:
1-Southbridge
2-Display Driver
3-CCC
4-AHCI
No Open CL for me since i'm using onboard video.
SOUTHBRIDGE
-USB AMD filter driver
-Northbridge filter driver
Nothing changed from 10.12 to 11.1
Display Driver
-ATI display driver passed from 8.801.0.0000 to 8.812.0.000
-AMD slide-drop transcoding stayed the same
-Video player WMV9/VC-1 in 10.12 but removed it in 11.1
Catalyst
-CCC 2010.1125.2142.38865 has now been replaced directly by CCC2 2011.0104.2155.39304
Note: If you remember in 10.12 the CCC was installed then the CCC2 was installed later included in the AHCI package
AHCI
-AMD AHCI Sata driver 1.2.001.0269 now became 1.2.001.0275
-CCC2 in 10.12 but now absent form this package and moved to Catalyst package to replace the CCC.
That is my analyzis but I still wonder why they removed the WMV/VC-1 stuff???
For those who don't know what it is used for take a look there: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/howto/articles/vc1techoverview.aspx
