Buyer Beware Scam site(s)

All members of TPU and guest readers please beware of any and all business done with the above site. As of 1/30/11, I ordered 2(two) Seagate 1TB hard drives, still no sign of them and no tracking information.

Since receiving a confirmation email that they had been shipped(without tracking information), I have been unsuccessfuly attempting to reach said company via phone & email to obtain FedEx tracking. As of today I filed a dispute with my bank.

Look at street number hat. That's how Queens, NY lists all their street numbers.

When I just tried calling I got a fax signal.... I looked to make sure I did not call the fax number and I didn't so. I have no idea bud. I think like wiz said start a claim with your CC company. I don't know if calling the cops would do anything about it??? Probably not.
Edit oops it was the fax nimber lol calling.....

you should definitely report them to the bbb though if things don't pan out so they get a mark on them. Then it might show up on google searches for this place and people will avoid them.

Also, maybe the person lives above the video place(and is web design literate) and sells/ scams stuff from his apt??

Internet purchasing 101:

-Google search the site.
-Check credentials.
-Check around to see if others have purchased.

I don't think it is necessary to list scam sites as they are usually easy to spot. If you don't know the business or never heard of them, do a little homework first.
