As i just said on the youtube page.

The second ATI card is doing NOTHING.

This is 6990 vs 3 way sli, not two 6990s vs 3 way sli.

If crossfire scaling was working scores should be around the same if not a lil higher on atis side.

but isn't that just the point? quad crossfire is practically useless in 90% of titles, they should try 6990+6970 vs 580 Tri SLi.

Can't really agree with the above comment. I've never had an issue in 3 years with ATi.

Their scalling with 2 cards is like 90%. It's just with 4 cards that it's not great, but that might be due to the resolution. 6990 + 6970 might be interesting.

You've never had a game that you blew the recommended specs out of the water with and the reasoning to why it wasn't running very well was "because it's optimized for nvidia gpu" or "ati driver support sucks"?

If ATi should have performed better on that benchmarking, they would have. I don't know why they are so lousy at driver support.

Well I have seen this test run before with one 6990 and it had the same score as the 6990 crossfire seen here.

I'm not really complaining. I just don't understand why they need all these hot fixes and Nvidia seems to hit the head on the nail every time at launch.

If I know a game is shity coded I just don't buy them.
For most of the time such games are just crappy console ports.
