Approximate value for my rig?

Alright well here are the specs of it, and how old everything is. Thanks in advance guys! (also not sure if this gets posted here, if not please let me know, or move it.)

SPECS:
Processor: AMD Phenom II X4 945 3.00 GHz 5 months
RAM: 6.00 GB (2 gigs stock, 4 gigs G.SKILL (2 x 2GB) DDR2 800) 4 months
OS: Windows 64 bit ultimate (not sure this even maters but what the hell)
Video Card: ZOTAC ZT-40503-10L GeForce GTS 450 (Fermi) 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 2 and a half months, hardest gaming on it is Black Ops, mid settings, can definitly go higher) PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card (thank you newegg)
Power Supply: Antec EarthWatts EA650 650W Continuous Power 2 months
Mother Board:ASUS M4A785-M AM3/AM2+/AM2 AMD 785G HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard 6 months
Case:Stock (HP Pavilion Case, hes a little guy)
HD:Hitachi 120GB (stock)

Well both. Mostly i just want to know the value. If it is decent enough i may just sell it, but a new PC and rebuild. New parts anyway. Cheaper to build than to be built.

No fast enough for games , maybe?

What i would do first is get 2Gb out of there & leave only the 4Gb of g-skill (4Gb is enough for gaming)

Second i would OC the PII to 3.5Ghz or more (if your board can oc?)

Third change the video card for an GTX460 or AMD 6850

The thing about OCing for me is this...

I really want to do it so i look up guides, read up info, try to understand it all and then, fail.

I dont even try because i get all mixed up in the guides and whatnot. I would love to do it, if i knew how and didn't have the fear of blowing over another mobo.

OCing is almost impossible to kill hardware unless you do something incredibly stupid like setting voltages to their maximum settings.

Well you could always take pics of your Bios & we may guide you in the right place... lol!

But still at 3Ghz should be ok what is holding you back is mostly the GTX450 & your mixed of Ram's , just keep your 2 sticks of 4Gb g-skill it should be faster than having 6Gb with 4 sticks of ram mixed (1t vs 2t)

But be prepare to do a bit of some Clear C-mos if you go to far :laugh:

BTW: What is the max resolution of your monitor & what is the resolution you play at?

I would say between $450-500 just buy a new gfx card theres nothing else your really NEED to upgrade. not a bad little pc.

If you're looking to sell, chances are you would not be able to see it as a whole, or you might have to sell it for less to sell the whole thing. Many people are particluar and would only buy certain items. To get the top dollar, you would probably be better off parting it out.
